Welcome

WELCOME to LEO’s Prayer Partners

After the 2016 Pulse Nightclub mass-murders in Orlando, Florida, I was very concerned for our men and women of law enforcement that had to process and investigate this tragic event. I knew that they and many other first responders to this scene would be severely affected by what they had witnessed. As a retired LEO, I understood some of what they were experiencing on that date and for days to come, but there is no way to truly comprehend the full effects that this tragedy has on another human being.

Shortly thereafter, God burdened my heart to pray for these men and women -- our first responders -- our law enforcement officers -- as they dealt daily with this tragedy. As I and others prayed, I felt God encouraging me to take this further and make something out of it, but I didn’t know what that would be. He continued to refine my thoughts and take me to a deeper commitment of prayer and encouraging others to do the same.

That process eventually led me to LEO’s (Law Enforcement Officers) Prayer Partners as a permanent means of praying for our LEO's, their families and agencies. It also allowed a venue for families and friends to post prayer requests on LEO’s Prayer Partners site.

In my many years of law enforcement I don’t recall anyone ever telling me that they were praying for me. I’m sure my mother, the wonderful lady that she was, prayed for her son. Have you ever thought about how uplifting it is to someone to tell them that you are praying for them? and that you are lifting up their name before the God of all creation? What I can tell you is that it is more powerful than we may ever realize.

I want every law enforcement officer in the state of Florida to know that there is someone praying each and every day for them by name, and that we share with others who pray for them also.

All I am asking is your time and your relationship with Jesus Christ to post your prayer requests and concerns for our men and women of law enforcement in the state of Florida. We also want you to list those prayer concerns for LEO’s in other states. Oh, yes, even if they are retired, please don’t forget or exclude them as they have laid the groundwork for many of our men and women who actively serve today. Just click on "Post a Comment," or send us an email.

Thank you for making this commitment to post your concerns and to enter into a time of prayer with us, especially every Monday morning at 7:00 A.M.

God Bless You!
